Herbal Therapy has a long history in medicine. Many of the medications one might take today have a basis in herbal therapy. One should not try to replace regular medical treatments with herbal therapy. Some herbs interact with prescription medications so prior to the use of herbs you should discuss the use of such herbs and medications with your physician.

It is the responsibility of each person to take an active part in their health care and you should research and know what you are taking before you begin to take any medication or herbal product.
