You didn’t see me

But I was watching you

I was hidden

From your view

 

I saw you smile

I smiled too

 

You shielded the sun from your eyes

And

I wondered what was on your mind

 

I wanted so just to touch you

But that is something I could not do

 

For you didn’t see me, quietly in my garden there

But I was watching you
